A search warrant executed by the Scioto County Sheriff's Office has resulted in drug charges against a South Webster man and possible additional charges filed against several other people.
Sheriff Marty V. Donini said detectives and deputies, along with a detective from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, enforced the warrant at the residence of Randy L. Fyffe, 36, of 5425 Bennett Schoolhouse Road, South Webster, at 7:55 p.m. Friday.
Donini said detectives were led to the Fyffe residence during an ongoing theft investigation being conducted by both the Scioto County and Jackson County sheriff's offices.
Donini also said deputies and detectives seized approximately eight grams of cocaine, 3-1/2 generic 80-milligram Oxycontin tablets, 60 Loritab, several firearms, digital scales and approximately $2,100 in cash.
Detectives said they also confiscated tools and a dirt bike believed to be stolen from Jackson and Lawrence counties.
Fyffe was arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs, both fourth-degree felonies.
