Recently, many inquiries have been made by numerous individuals concerning a web page addressing employment. As a result of these requests, we have "quickly" created this simple page which includes a link to allow you to print a copy of our job application.
As most of the community is probably already aware of, we will be and are currently in the process of hiring at least sixteen individuals for positions within the newly constructed Scioto County Jail which is tentatively due to open sometime in mid March or early April 2006.
Please feel free to download the two page job application and return it to Captain John Murphy of the Scioto County Sheriff's Office. Time permitting, we plan to list our job desriptions along with the benefits for each position.
